Training Schedule

Monday is a general run with runners in groups of similar abilities. Thursdays is a quality session which varies week to week

Monday Training

Monday nights are a general recovery run up to around 6.2mi (10km) with runners in groups of similar abilities from around 7min 30s/mile down to 13min/mile.

The meeting point rotates from the below locations week to week and will be published on our social media in advance. Click the link to see the location on Google Maps.

Thursday Training

Thursday nights are for quality sessions with runners in groups of similar abilities with sessions that vary week to week. These include:

  • Shorter VO₂ reps (e.g. 400m repeats, 600m repeats)
  • Longer threshold reps (e.g. 1k repeats, 1mi repeats, progression runs)
  • Hill repeats
  • Strength (i.e. short and fast repeats)

Typically we meet outside of Billingham Rugby club on Greenwood Road in Billingham but this may change week to week and will be published on our social media in advance.
